HARMONY LANDING RENTAL INFO

We're very pleased to announce THE 60 SECOND SOUTHERN VIDEO FESTIVAL @ HARMONY LANDING. We have assembled an outstanding group of curators and participating artists and are very pleased at the response and excitement regarding this event.

This is a joint venture between Fugitive Projects and Harmony Landing. More information regarding these groups is available on this website.

DATE: THE FESTIVAL @ HARMONY LANDING will happen Saturday, May 5, 2007 after the sun sets (8pm, rain or shine).
The program will show a second time that evening from 10pm-12am with the inclusion of several videos worthy of R or X ratings. The videos will be shown on a large screen under the stars (rain will bring us into the large main cabin), one video after another (movie house style), using a DELL 5100MP 3300 ANSI digital projector . Gates into Harmony Landing open at 2pm for an afternoon of self guided tours, views of the Harpeth River and conversation. There is a suggested donation of $5 for event admission. We will not be providing food but grills will be available for use.

LOCATION:Harmony Landing is a 70 acre residency on the Harpeth River for visual artists, writers and musicians located 15 minutes from downtown Nashville, in the countryside near Pegram, TN.

CABINS AND CAMPING: For information on cabins and camping on the event night, contact Alva Herbert at Harmony Landing: 615.662.2649 or aharmonylanding@msn.com or view the Harmony Landing Rental Info link.

THE FESTIVAL IN OTHER CAPACITIES: We have plans to exhibit a selection of festival videos beyond the Harmony Landing event. A selection of videos from THE 60 SECOND SOUTHERN VIDEO FESTIVAL @ HARMONY LANDING will be exhibited at other venues in The U.S. and Europe. If you know of any compelling venues please let us know. Fugitive Projects has Tennessee non-profit status. Fugitive Projects is an artist advocacy, curatorial resource and databank. Distribution of the 60 Second Southern Film Festival is primarily for cultural and artistic dissemination. Artists retain all rights to their work.

We are looking forward to seeing you there.
